Citizens of the World

A concept, book, and campaign about celebrating cultural multiplicity. Created, photographed, and styled entirely independently.

We are, all of us, a cultural mix. Whether through heritage, upbringing, or the countless small ways we brush up against other cultures, none of us fit neatly into one box. Citizens of the World takes that idea and turns it into something to celebrate rather than explain away. A positive, light-hearted response to racism and the instinct to categorize people by where they come from.

At its center is a book of interviews and portraits with people born between cultures: some of mixed heritage, others raised by parents who immigrated from elsewhere. Each conversation explores what it means to carry more than one culture, more than one set of values, more than one set of habits and the strength and color that comes from holding all of it at once.

Citizens of the World isn't an argument. It's an invitation to see multiplicity as something worth celebrating, together.
